The initial contract signed between SICAP & Istiaia Forestry for the construction of 23 weight dams and the flood protection of the areas declared in a state of emergency after the fires of August 2021.<\/p>

Purpose of the project:<\/p>

  • Retention of the transported materials produced by the action of the waters.<\/li>
  • Achievement of a compensation slope to reduce the speed of water flow on the stream bed<\/li>
  • Limitation of surface runoff.<\/li>
