SICAP S.A. undertook the anti-flooding project \"Hydrotechnical works on Xiropotamos stream of the hydrological basin 23.27.02\" in the area of Lake.<\/p><p>The project will contribute to the recovery of the local #biodiversity and agricultural lands after the devastating fires of August 2021 and, most importantly, to the protection of human life and settlements, cultural &amp; infrastructure works located near the burnt lands.<\/p><p>As part of the post-fire restoration of the area, the following are under construction:<\/p><ul><li>3 Stone damns &amp; 3 pre-damns.<\/li><li>2 Concrete Box Culverts.<\/li><li>2 Low Water Crossings (Irish Crossing).<\/li><li>Vertical River Thresholds and construction of concrete walls parallel to existing walls foundations.<\/li><li>Vertical River erosion, flood protection work is progressing smoothly, and the project is expected to be delivered on
