SICAP CONSTRUCTIONS undertakes the Flood Protection works of North Evia<\/a><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

H <\/em>SICAP undertook the execution of the flood protection works of the basins of Lake in N. Evia, in the context of the Restoration and Rebuilding project of the wider fire-affected area.<\/em><\/p>\n

For this purpose, we undertake the construction of 36 gravity dams plus 35 gravity pre-dams to achieve:<\/em><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Restrain soil materials, transported by water flow, after the fire effects on vegetation.<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Slope compensation to reduce water velocity over the riverbed.    <\/em> <\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n


    <\/em><\/p>

    The completion of the project is of vital importance for the area, as the final recipient of this hydrological basin is the local community of Rovies, the settlement of Chronia, and plethora of tourism businesses, residences, infrastructure & cultural buildings.<\/em><\/p>\n

    The progress of the infrastructure was inspected by the Deputy Ministers of Environment, G.Amyras, to the Prime Minister for State Aid & Natural Disaster, Ch.Triantopoulos, of Rural Development & Food, S.Kedikoglou, Deputy Prefect of Evia, G. Kelaiditis & the Mayor of Mantoudi, Limni, Ag.Anna, G.Tsapourniotis.  <\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
