The hydraulic project entitled "Construction of Main Sewer Collectors in the Municipal Unit of Avlonas" has been successfully delivered to the Communities of the Municipality of Kymi-Aliveri, contributing decisively to the overall environmental upgrade of the area, in conjunction with the construction of the new Avlonari Biological Treatment Plant!

Specifically, the project, with a study budget of €3.8M, is designed not only to connect the existing internal sewer networks of all surrounding municipal communities, but also to serve the needs of those who currently lack such networks.

Now a 23 km long network is consisting of:

• Gravity sewer pipelines
• Pressure sewer pipelines
• Control and safety manholes
• 2 bridge crossings & 2 crossings under river/stream beds
• 2 + 4 wastewater pumping stations
• Road network that passes through difficult-to-access roads
