A significant port infrastructure project for the area is now underway, including all necessary works for the immediate restoration of the damage to the Megisti Port quay.

Specifically, the project involves the restoration of the undermined underwater foundations at the quay walls and the ramp, the demolition of the existing elevated ramp, as well as the reconstruction of the surface layers, along with the installation of rail tracks on the ramp for passenger/car ferries.

Our main priority: To improve the daily life of island residents and enhancing the safety of coastal transportation.
