Construction of Main Sewer Collectors in the Municipal Unit of Avlonas

The SICAP engineering team completed the project titled: “EXPANSION OF THE SANITARY LANDFILL (SLF) OF THE REGIONAL UNIT OF LARISSA INTO A WASTE TREATMENT RESIDUE LANDFILL (WTRL) FOR THE DISPOSAL OF MECHANICAL-BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT (MBT) RESIDUES FROM THE WASTE TREATMENT PLANT OF THE REGIONAL UNIT OF LARISSA".

The scope of the project, with a budget of € 1.5 M, includes the expansion of the existing sanitary landfill and the construction of the necessary infrastructure works.

During the project's completion, special emphasis was placed on utilizing the existing infrastructure, addressing deficiencies in the current landfill, making optimal use of the site's natural features and minimizing environmental risks — all to ensure the landfill’s rational and cost-effective operation.
