SICAP has initiated a road construction project with a budget of €4.7M. This project will significantly enhance the daily traffic flow for residents.

The works include:

• Asphalt paving
• Wider sidewalks, improving safety and easy accessibility
• Exclusive bicycle lanes and stops on both sides of El. Venizelou Avenue

• Innovative technology electric lighting system
• A green traffic island with a single planting
• Construction of ramps for persons with a disability and guidance for the blind
• Temporary parking spaces

This project in Chalkida aims to improve pedestrian and cyclist movement while separating motorized traffic areas, including stops and parking.
