After the devastating fire of 2021, the Forest Village of Papades in North Evia was reborn!

Ms. Matina Kiliari, CEO of SICAP, with the Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Thodoros Skylakakis, as well as significant people from the Directorate of Forests and Forest Environment, attended the opening of the place.

Specifically, our company undertook the full restoration of the green area, completing the following works:

• Demolition of the basement building of the restaurant and its reconstruction, according to its old positioning.
• Reconstruction of the wooden restaurant's building in its former condition.
• Construction of the five wooden buildings-houses in their former condition and adaptation of new facilities (hydraulic, electrical, heating, and fire protection).
• Reconfiguring the surrounding area and replacing the burnt wooden fencing in the corridors within the Forest Village.
• Restoration of the playground (placement of a swing, seesaw, slide, etc.) and the sports fields.
