SICAP S.A. and the Municipality of Aliveri recently signed a €7.7 M contract to construct a new indoor swimming pool in Aliveri.

This project will greatly benefit the local community, especially in sports. It will host top-tier national water polo and swimming events.

Highlights of the project:

• The new indoor swimming pool will be constructed on a 5,265 square meter plot, with a total built area of 3,193 square meters, having a capacity of 340 spectators
• The facility will feature a 33.33m x 25.00m competition pool with five lanes and an 11.50m x 8.50m training pool
• The facility will also include a gym, a physical therapy room, a doctor's office, changing rooms, a meeting room, and a press/interview room
• In all areas (except the engine rooms) the possibility of access and use for the disabled will be provided
• Our specialized team will also shape the surrounding area of the building, by creating a 30-space parking lot
• An energy-efficient swimming pool will be created that will install photovoltaics, suitable thermal insulation as well as the selective arrangement of openings, the rational positioning of the functional units, and the use of solar protection systems

This project carries a special meaning for us as it is at the birthplace of our founder, Mr. Dimitris Kiliaris.
