SICAP S.A. completed the project " Phase III of the Port of Mantoudi "with an initial budget of €10M !

Specifically, our experts executed a project with the below:

• Restoration of a damaged breakwater and its expansion for safer navigation all around the year and under all weather conditions
• Removing the damaged armor and rebuilding it with artificial boulders type of Tetrapodes
• Construction of a protective wall and reconstruction of the superstructure's entire deck surface
• Reinforcement of the foundation bottom with stone columns to avoid future sedimentation
  
  

The challenges we faced during the execution of the project, were:

1. Production of specified concrete on SICAP's premises
2. Accomplishment of a demanding project with geotechnical difficulties on time!

This specific project is significant for the development of Evia, because of the connection with the Sporades and Thessaloniki!
