Sicap undertook the "CONSTRUCTION OF DIRECT REHABILITATION PROJECTS OF THE KALAPODI IRRIGATION CANAL OF LILANTA RIVER IN EVIA", a significant project for the local community, with a total budget of €2.6 M!

Main Object: The restoration of the #irrigation canal of the Kalapodi River Lilantas in central Evia.

The set of works concerns two sections of the river:
First, the water intake location - water withdrawal, where works are carried out to enter and bring it to the irrigation canal and anti-flood protection projects of the riverbed.
Then, the exit point from the irrigation canal and the river's connection at its downstream end with the ambola network.

The project construction is over 50% complete and is expected to be finished by August 2024 before the execution deadline (November 2024)!
